Mission: To provide the Federal officer with the necessary skills and information to enable him to perform on the battlefield in such a way that the Rebellion is put down as speedily as possible. To this end, the War College works in close co-operation with the Union Army Military Academy at West Point. Academy graduates are strongly encouraged to visit the Union Army War College in order to complete their training and advance their knowledge. For security reasons, the contents of these pages are protected by a password. Federal officers can obtain this password from their corps or army commanders, or by sending a message to the Commandant. (This message can be blank apart from the applying officer's name and unit.) The password is changed every six months. Last password change 01/09/2006. |
